Our Hairdressing Discovery Course is a hands-on, beginner-friendly programme designed especially for 16–19 year olds who want to explore the hairdressing industry and gain real salon experience before committing to further training or apprenticeships.

Delivered over 6–8 weeks, one day per week (6 hours per day), this course focuses on practical, in-studio learning so students can build confidence, develop real skills, and experience what it’s truly like to work in a professional salon environment at Studio SS.

You won’t just watch — you’ll learn by doing.

What to expect

Each week combines live demonstrations, guided practice, and hands-on salon work, helping students grow their skills step by step in a supportive, friendly space.
